A lifetime

Somehow I got to meet you,
That blinding moment,
And in a little second I was suffering,
Lost in the colours of your eyes.

And hands together we traveled through,
Beneath the sand and over the rain,
Looking straight at the field,
Trying not to loose stregth.

Finally sleeping next to you,
Finding comfort in your shoulder,
Waking up with a fine sunlight,
Staring at you untill you sleep again.

Years by, I learnt everything,
How to make you laugh,
Make you angry, and cry,
And hold your head up, to make you laugh again.

Everything I thought I knew,
Until you began to close your eyes,
Not to sleep as before,
Just to rest and make me cry,
And leting me know,
That the only thing I lack of,
Is to learn to say good night.
